Eight years ago, Helen Belangie started her cello studio in the heart of Los Angeles. Since then she has taught all ages and all levels, beginning to advanced.

Ms. Belangie's approach is to create a positive environment and a fun atmosphere where students can thrive. She believes in creating a relaxed player with a love for music.

Lesson plans are tailored to match the needs of each individual student. These plans could include the use of arrangements of popular song, the Rick Mooney or Suzuki books, scales and several other technique books for the more advanced student.

The students from her studio are encouraged to participate in the biannual recitals she puts together every year where they share what they have learned with others.
